Understanding the milestone81 headlamp collection

Choosing the right headlamp should be simple. That's why we would like to give you a quick breakdown of the milestone81 headlamp collection – each built for trail runners and outdoor explorers who value reliability over trendiness and a thoughtful design over mass production.
Each model is compact, lightweight, and tested on the trails by people like us – not just in a lab.
Standard Warm & Standard Cool
Our most minimalist models. Perfect for short runs, evening hikes, or backup use.
- Standard Warm: Warmer white tone (around 3000K). Feels soft and natural, easier on the eyes in the dark.
- Standard Cool: Cooler white tone (around 6500K). Slightly sharper, better detail visibility in technical terrain.
- Battery: Works on 3x AAA batteries.
- When to use: Everyday adventures, shorter runs, or as a reliable second headlamp.
Hybrid Warm
Simple and flexible.
- Comes with both a rechargeable battery and the option to use 3x AAA batteries.
- Warm light temperature for a cozy, eye-friendly experience.
- Great balance between minimal weight and flexible power.
When to use: If you want warm light and the freedom to swap batteries mid-adventure.
Rechargeable Cool & Rechargeable Warm
For the regular trail runner.
- Higher output, USB-C rechargeable.
- Warm or cool light – depending on your preference.
Warm = eye comfort
Cool = sharp detail

- Designed for long races, fastpacking, and technical trails.
- USB-C rechargeable battery with excellent burn time up to 53 hours.
- Warm light tone for less eye fatigue over hours.
- Includes red light and additional modes for night navigation.
When to use: Long nights, ultra races, or when gear simply can’t fail.
We don’t believe in overcomplicating gear. Every milestone81 lamp exists for a reason. If you’re not sure which one fits your style – just send us a message. We’ve tested them all in rain, snow, dust and early morning starts.
See you out there.
